We are constantly reminded in the Qur’an and the Hadith that Islam always advises its followers to give plenty of charity especially during the holy month of Ramadhan.
And truly generosity is one of the best mannerisms of a true believer and also one of the attributes of Allah the Exalted, as revealed in the hadith below:
“Indeed, Allah the Exalted is the Giver, He love generosity and noble manners, He detest bad manners.” (Narrated by Al Baihaqi, classed Sahih by Al Albani in ‘Shahihul Jami’, 1744).
In the hadith above, we learn that stinginess is not the characteristic of a true believer just as begging for alms is also not encouraged. In this spirit of welcoming the blessed month of Ramadhan, we would like to present to you, our dear supporters last year’s IFTAAR Ramadhan programs which was kindly sponsored by Muslim brothers and sisters from different parts of the world.
We hope the video clip above will give you an idea of the sincere hard work done by the Al Noor team in Zanzibar to ensure that the IFTAAR Ramadhan Sadaqa has reached the most deserving fasting Muslims.
We are writing to you, seeking your support for this year’s IFTAAR SA’EM (Ramadhan program). The estimated budget is $3 per person per day for a very good Iftaar meal. Whatever little you can contribute will Insha’Allah go a long way in feeding a poor fasting person in this blessed month of Ramadhan.
We implore Allah Almighty to help us serve His cause and render our work for His Sake. May Allah reward all of those who keep His Divine Command. Ameen
