Iftaar Ramadhan 2014

Iftaar Ramadhan 2014

Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Rahim – As-Salaamu ‘Alaikum,

Alhamdulillah, we praise Allah and we thank Him for giving us another opportunity to welcome another blessed month of Ramadhan.

On behalf of Al Noor Charitable Agency for the Needy, we would like to share with you a brief summary of the first 15 days of last year’s IFTAAR Ramadhan which was contributed by Muslim brothers and sisters from different parts of the world. We did send our final Iftaar Ramadhan report last year as part of our Newsletter circulation.

The attached brief PowerPoint Presentation cannot do justice for the sincere hard work done by the Al Noor team in Zanzibar to ensure that the IFTAAR Ramadhan Sadaqa has reached the most deserving poor and destitute Muslims. We wish you were with us on the ground to witness the gratitude and the dua’a from the people when breaking their fast.

We are writing to you, seeking your support in this year’s IFTAAR Ramadhan program. The estimated budget is $3 US per person for a very good Iftaar meal. However, you don’t have to necessarily support the IFTAAR for the whole Madrasa or Masjid. Whatever little you can contribute will In Sha Allah go a long way in feeding a poor fasting person in this blessed month of Ramadhan.

In Sha Allah we will work hard and do our best to ensure the IFTAAR Ramadhan program is well planned and executed with complete Eemaan and we pray In Sha Allah Allah Subhanahu will accept from you, and from the best of our efforts.

You can contribute on-line via PayPal or to our local bank account. Alternatively you can contact us at info@alnoorcharity.org

We also request you to pass on this report to your family members, friends and colleagues. Jazakum Allah Khairan. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts and leave you with the words of Allah, the Most Bountiful:

“The men and women who give charity and make a good loan to Allah will have it increased for them and they will have a generous reward.” – Qur’an Surat 57: Ayah

Barakal Allahu Feek,

Nadir Mahfoudh.
